Getting started

Open Library and choose New recipe. Give the dish a name and create its first cooking attempt. Add a text note, photograph a cooking moment or record a voice reflection. Use another attempt to try an adjustment, then Compare attempts to review what changed.

Photos and voice recordings

Allow camera or microphone access when you choose to use those features. Change permissions in iPhone Settings. You can use Choose photo to select an existing image, or use a text note if you do not want to grant microphone access. Voice reflections have manually entered summaries; there is no automatic transcription. Recording pauses when you leave the app.

Exporting and saving

Open a recipe and select Export notebook card. Choose Printable PDF or Long image, select and arrange the events, then Share / Save. You choose the receiving app or save location. Audio is represented by its written summary in a recipe card, not an embedded audio recording.

Storage, deletion and recovery

Notebook data is stored on your iPhone. There is no account, cloud sync or TasteTrace cloud recovery. Delete an event or recipe from its actions, or open Privacy & Storage and choose Erase all local data. These operations do not remove files you previously shared. Export important cards before uninstalling the app. If data cannot be opened, avoid erasing the app before contacting support.

Webpage connection problems

The notebook works offline, but Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Support need an internet connection. Check your connection, tap Try again, or close the webpage to return to the app. Recipe content is not sent to the website when opening these pages.

Contacting us

Email nan198863663w@126.com with the issue, your iPhone model, iOS version, TasteTrace version and steps to reproduce it. Screenshots are optional. Remove private information from attachments and do not send passwords. We do not need access to your complete recipe notebook to investigate a general issue.
