Your recipe notebook

TasteTrace stores your recipes, cooking attempts, text notes, selected photos, voice recordings, thumbnails and generated exports in the app's private storage on your iPhone. Recipe content is not uploaded to our website. There is no TasteTrace account or cloud synchronization service. Cooking notes, comparisons and exports work offline.

Camera, photos and microphone

Camera access lets you photograph cooking steps and finished dishes. Microphone access lets you record observations about taste, heat and changes for another attempt. Recording starts when you choose to record, and pauses when you leave the app. You can decline access and use text notes instead. The system photo picker lets you select a photo without granting full photo-library access. Change camera or microphone permissions in iPhone Settings.

Legal and support webpages

Opening Privacy Policy, Terms of Service or Support connects to https://com-detail-tastetrace.vercel.app through an in-app browser. The website and its hosting infrastructure receive information needed to deliver the page, such as your IP address, browser request details and request timing. The browser may retain website storage and cached resources. Your recipe notebook is not included in these requests. Internet access is required for these webpages.

SDKs and tracking

This version uses an embedded web container to display legal and support pages. It does not start advertising attribution, advertising tracking or analytics services. The included attribution library is not initialized. The app does not request tracking permission or send cooking notes, photos or audio to that library. We do not sell your notebook content.

Sharing and support requests

When you export or share a recipe card, the app or person you choose receives the shared file. Their handling of that copy is governed by their policies. If you contact nan198863663w@126.com, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are processed to respond to your request. Do not email private recipes, recordings or other sensitive material unless needed for your question. Email delivery and retention also depend on the email providers involved and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to ask about a support message or request its deletion.

Deletion and retention

Notebook content remains locally until you delete it or remove the app. You can delete individual events or recipes, or select Erase all local data in Privacy & Storage. Local deletion does not remove files you exported outside the app, copies shared with others, or support emails. Uninstalling the app removes its local notebook; TasteTrace does not provide cloud recovery. Device backups may be governed separately by your Apple device and backup settings. We do not promise a fixed retention period for hosting or email-provider records; contact us for questions about those records.

Your choices

You can use the notebook without an account, deny permissions, avoid opening online pages, and control what you share. Privacy rights available under the laws that apply to you may include access, correction or deletion requests. Send requests to nan198863663w@126.com. We may need information necessary to understand and verify a request.
